- ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD OF FELLOWSHIP: -
The detailed criteria for the award of AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) are as follows:
- a) The fellowship/ HRA/ contingency will be granted to research scholars admitted in the technical universities in the identified thrust areas of the scheme.
- b) Technical universities will admit candidates in their research programme as per their procedure following minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE.
- c) The candidate must have secured minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.5 on the scale of 10 (or minimum 70% marks, 69.5 % and above) or equivalent at both Bachelors and Masters. In addition to above, the candidate should have qualified GATE/ NET during the last 5 years. For SC/ ST/ PH candidates, CGPA requirement will be 7.0 on the scale of 10 (or 65% marks, 64.5 % and above) or equivalent.
- d) The candidate should be less than 30 years of age as on date of admission in respective technical university. However, age relaxation of 5 years would be applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ ST, women and physically challenged category in succession.
- The detailed criteria for the award of RGPV Doctoral Fellowship (RDF/RIKSDF) are as follows:
- Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a relevant Master's degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade from a University, a deemed University or any other University incorporated under a law and recognized by University Grants Commission of India (UGC).
- A relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Differently-abled and other categories of candidates as per the decision of UGC from time to time, or for those who had obtained their relevant Master's degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace marks.
- A candidate who has not completed Master’s Degree, is permitted to appear in the entrance test for the Ph.D. programme. However, such candidates shall be required to submit a certificate of passing the Master’s Degree along with the marks/grades obtained at the time of interview for admission into Ph.D. programme.

Last Date for submitting the online Application form will be October 09th, 2022.
- Online Examination for the Ph.D. Entrance Test will be held on October 14th, 2022.
- The Eligible candidates will be interviewed online/offline mode from 20th to 22nd of October 2022.
- The final result will be displayed on RGPV portal on 27.10.2022.
